My New Passion

I have been lucky to have traveled to over 30 countries and lived in five. The challenge has always been how to fund yourself in your desired destination and chosen lifestyle.

Now after many training programmes mentors and thousands of dollars invested in my digital education i now know how!?

My mission is to help all adventurers, expats, wannabe expats, digital nomads and all true seekers of freedom achieve their desired lifestyle in their desired destination.

For many it might be working from home and not having to battle daily with the commute.

The point is i have everything you need to set out a strategy and build an business around your passion that you will love.

How to start and grow a profitable online business?... Get with a mentor and join a community that are already achieving what you desire. That is it in a nutshell!

I can save you thousands of hours and dollars as i have been your 'guinea pig and made all the mistakes' ...I can make you avoid the same pitfalls.

All the learning and experimenting has been challenging and fun in equal measure but i am now in a position to guide you through to a successful outcome.

Below is a little bio about my past escapades needless to say life is a little more chilled these days.

I have always been a non-conformist and here is a short overview of past , present and future.

Today my passion is building my online coaching platforms;

  1. glen-murphy.com 2) entrepreneurexpats.com plus my latest passion a online ecommerce store 3) blinkvintage.com

Once you get set up online professionally and generate your desired income you can begin your laptop lifestyle which gives me/you the freedom and flexibility to live and work anywhere there is a WiFi connection.

Never ever before in history has it been so easy to build an business with such low overheads and align that business with your passion. Welcome to the digital revolution!

None of this would have been possible if i had not invested in my digital marketing education and joined a digital online entrepreneurial community with wonderful mentors.

My advise to my son and anyone who wants to build an online success story is to get with people who are already doing it and belong to a mastermind group where everyone can support each other and share their stories.

There are many people now living a ‘laptop lifestyle’ and i plan to help as many people as possible realize this way of life is possible.

Obviously an online business is not for everyone but it is the future. The individuals who resonate with this new exciting digital revolution and understand the opportunity will greatly benefit.

By building an online business you have the possibility to create a ‘financial digital safety-net’ for yourself and your family.

One thing i do know is your age and technical skills are not important, this new ‘digital revolution’ has opened up incredible opportunities for anyone with the drive , an open mind and a big why?... to make it happen!

My main goal with entrepreneurexpats.com and glen-murphy.com is to help and coach as many people as possible achieve freedom and flexibility where you get to choose where you live and work.

You empower yourself and take control back. You get to follow your passion and work on your business and your dreams not somebody else’s.

Freedom for the the individual is a massive driving force for me and our community.

 How it began

I was not academic and school did not inspire me but I had real curiosity and have always been a little rebellious and adventurous.

I realized i would never be able to stick to a 9 to 5 job or a long term career, so i set off into the unknown with a small rucksack strapped to my back and booked a one way ticket to the Greek Islands.

My work experience has been diverse, here is a brief outline of my work and travel adventures.

Previous to working as a salesman for Canon UK, I completed a 5 year apprenticeship in heating and ventilation.

The day i finished my apprenticeship and received my ‘City Guilds of London Certificate’ i was allowed to call myself a qualified trades person, i got an extra £2.50 per hour, that day I said I would never work on a building site ever again.

The building site culture and future income did not seem like much fun.

I was lucky that my cousin told me to get my haircut, buy a suit and come and work for him as a trainee  sales executive for Canon UK. I did eventually get my own patch of London.

It was a exciting period for a young man who had recently hung up his work overalls. Great money was the icing on the cake.

But, once i looked around the office and deep into the eyes of burnt out salesman it was time to escape to the sun in search of adventure.

There have been many months to be completely honest of no work, just travelling in some wonderful countries and meeting beautiful people, also some crazy stories but i will have to save those for another time.

All the above and much more untold escapades spans a 30+ year period where i experienced splendid highs and challenging lows.

It is important to note it was not always easy but so far i have followed my heart and done it ‘my way’ and i plan to continue in the same vein but as i am older and wiser i will listen to my head and heart in unison.
